Nearpod,Mind Meister and Edpuzzle

   

     Hello everyone! 

     Today we will look at useful tools that we can use to enrich our classes and enhace language learning process. Let’s start first one!

     As teachers we use powerpoint presentations frequenlty in our classrooms to support our class. To prepeare an interactive slide you can use very helpfull app Nearpod. 

    Nearpod is basically a virtual classroom app. After you create your presentation you can share the code given by nearpod with your students so that they can access your interactive presentation that can made for them online. Besides presentation, you can create quizes and online tests for your students. While your students answer your quiz you can see the how many answers are accurate or not. 

    The other one is Mindmeister. Mindmeister is an mind mapping tool. You can choose best structure, theme and style you need for your topic. They offer 12 different structures including fishbone, treemap, circle map and bubble map. You can customize your mapp the way you want by using different colours, choosing different connection stylies etc. You have so many options.

    It had brainatorming mood which is very beneficial. Importance of brainstorming is very well known. You give your students a topic and expect them to create their own mind map. Mindmeister is available on various devices such as pc, tablet and mobile. You can access it in very simple way. 

    The last app i want to present is Edpuzzle. It is an app tha allows you to create interactive videos. Teachers can both choose a video from some sites which is one of them is youtube we all familiar with and create their own videos if they want to. If you choose your video from a site don´not worry you can edit the way you want and make it more appropriate for your topic. Students can join the class and see what their teacher assign them. Teachers can see students´ answers and give them feedback.
