SAMR

    Hello everyone

   In this blog we talk about how we can enhance teaching and learning processes through technology. I mentioned TPACK model before and now i have another model to explain to you. 

   SAMR model: 

   SAMR model explains us how and why we use technology to enhance learning. 

  The model  has for levels and each of them leads the other. 

    1.Substition Level: Substition of the coursebooks.

     > Since technology is a part of our life we use technological tools more often. Substition level refers to need of using techonogical tools rather than simple coursebooks in learning.  

    2. Augmentation Level: Enriching the class and information beyond coursebooks.

    3. Modification Level: Modifying the teaching process. 

    > How teachers should use technology?

    4. Redefining Level: Changing the ways of teaching and learningn. 

    I think it is important and essential to understand and apply models as TPACK and SAMR. It will help us to teach more effectively.
