Virtual World Games, SecondLife, Sinespace

    Hello everyone

    We know what is virtual reality right? I said previously we can use virual reality in our classes and one way doing it is games! Now, in this post we will look virtual games in detaied way. 

   One of the most popular 3D virtual world  is Sinespace. You can pick a character for yourself and customize it changing clothes etc. Also, you can create and design your own home. As i said before you can interact with people all around the world. 

   In our language learning process how can we benefit from this? The answer is simple. Interacting and communicating with native speakers is important in terms of exposuring the real language. With the virtual world, we have opportunity to speak with natives while we are sitting in our homes, safe and sound. Apart from that we as teachers can create our own virtual classroom and study with our students when we can’t meet them face-to-face. It helps us in distant learning. 

   We always think different tasks for our students to support their learning process.  Virtual worlds/games can be very affective in terms of prepaering a task.
